Artist Statement

As an artist, I seek to explore the intersection between personal identity, collective memory, and the power of shared experience. My work is driven by a fascination with the unseen forces that shape our lives—those that we cannot always articulate but feel in our bones. Through a variety of mediums, from printmaking, installation and sculpture to video and performance, I create immersive experiences that invite reflection on our interconnectedness and the ways we navigate the complexities of modern life.

My practice is rooted in collaboration. I believe that art should not be a solitary pursuit, but a catalyst for dialogue, empowerment, and social change. I strive to create spaces where individuals from all walks of life can come together, engage with each other, and explore new possibilities for understanding. Whether through public art installations, community-driven exhibitions, or intimate performances, my work serves as a bridge—connecting people to one another, to the spaces they inhabit, and to the deeper truths that often go unspoken.

My work evolves as I grow as a person, as an artist, and as a member of the communities I engage with. My exploration of identity—both personal and collective—is ever-shifting, reflecting the fluidity of culture, society, and the individual. I am drawn to the tension between fragility and resilience, and my work often challenges conventional boundaries in an effort to explore the unknown, the uncomfortable, and the transformative.

At the heart of my artistic practice is the desire to amplify marginalized voices, spark critical conversations, and ultimately, make art that can serve as a mirror to our shared humanity. Art, for me, is a tool for both personal healing and collective growth. It has the power to challenge perceptions, shift narratives, and create lasting connections between people, ideas, and the world around us.

Through my art, I invite viewers to question, feel, and reflect. I hope that my work not only inspires creative expression but also fosters a deeper understanding of the world and our place within it.
